Release of Candyman Reboot Delayed To 2021
The most awaited reboot of the 1992 cult-hit movie Candyman has been postponed to 2021. The film has already made great speculation because of the original cast member Tony Todd. Although after the 1990 release, two sequels were made after that, the original one will be fans’ favorite. Candyman is an American supernatural slasher movie written by Jordan Peele, Nia DaCosta, and Win Rosenfeld, directed by DaCosta. The sequel of the film is in the same name as the original one in 1992. The story is based on the short story by Clive Barker titled “The Forbidden.” The movie stars Tony Todd, Teyonah Parris, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, and Colman Domingo. The film was initially scheduled to be released on 12 June 2020, but due to pandemic COVID-19, it was delayed to sometime in 2021.
