  In a recent interview, Marvel Cinematic Universe revealed that Chris Hemsworth is not ready to give up playing the role of Thor. And hence Thor: Love and Thunder will not be his swan song in MCU. After the release of Endgame, it seems like it is the time of retirement of Captain America played by Chris Evan, and the death of Iron Man played by Robert Downey Jr.; Hemsworth shared that the film was the last film of the contract that he signed with Marvel. And yes this is it. He would not be playing the character again. And he shared that it was sort of scary. The character seemed like a never-ending thing to Hemsworth, and it is now finishing. Chris said in an interview after the release of Endgame that he would like to do more, as the character is so vast that he feels excited to explore it.
