  1. When you begin with the meeting, a window appears with two options that are, if you want to share a link with the people you want to add to the call, or share an invite via e-mail. Select any of the above options and add the participants to the meeting.
  2. If you’re hosting the call, the participants who join in will not be able to enter the meeting directly. Instead, it’ll seek your permission first. In the sidebar of the screen called ‘People,’ you’ll be able to see the participants willing to join the meeting. Tap in the box next to the participant name to permit the joining.

In case, the sidebar doesn’t appear on the screen, you can see the names in the ‘Show Participants’ window at the bottom of the screen. Click on the ‘Admit’ button to add.

In any case, if you want to plan a meeting in advance, the steps are as follows:

  1. Click on the ‘Meetings’ tab when you log in to your Microsoft Teams account.
  2. Locate the ‘Schedule a Meeting’ option and click on the same.
  3. Schedule the date and time for the meeting in the next window. Fill in the subject of the meeting or a group name and click on the ‘Schedule’ button.
  4. Next, send invites to the participants via a link.
