Everything to Know About ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti ROG STRIX

There were some speculations about RTX Ti ROG STRIX, and some leaked images have confirmed them. It is a top-range graphics card that aspires to make any device as one of the most interesting and the best-personalized devices.

You can see that ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 Ti ROG STRIX has three cooling fans, which is the classic pattern of the ROG STRIX series by ASUS. There should be a large radiator, just under the fans that are responsible for controlling all the critical areas of graphics cards like GPU, VRAM, and VRM. If, by any means, during the graphics card’s use, the temperature goes up, these fans can help you keep the temperature under control. It also works even when there is a high workload on the card.

You might see some of the essential changes in the card’s design, like the use of the silver color pattern throughout the fan area. You will find the ‘RTX 3080 Ti’ badge just lower in the left corner, and Wan RGB LED light in the GPU’s upper section.

First of all, you don’t have to rely on this leaked image, as it is not from the official site. So, you have to take it with caution. But some sources confirmed that this could be “provisional” design, or it could be a prototype made by ASUS.

Expectation From The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti

NVIDIA has not officially launched the graphics card, so there is no official confirmation about the specifications. Due to multiple leak images and information about the graphics card, you can speculate some specification that has enough credibility.

GeForce RTX 3080 Ti might offer these specs to the users:

  • GA102 graphics core (Ampere at 7 nm)
  • GPU at 1,770 MHz-1,925 MHz
  • 5,376 shaders
  • 168 RT cores
  • 672 tensor nuclei
  • 336 texturing units
  • 12 GB of GDDR6 at 16 GHz
  • TDP of 320 watts
  • 96 raster units
  • 384-bit bus

Possibly, these specs are the part of the RTX 3080 Ti. If these specs are confirmed, then you might see a massive revolution in this graphics card. The previous models of the ASUS have graphics cards with 68 RT cores and there are more chances that the new ASUS graphics card has the difference of 100 RT cores, which goes in favor of the RTX 3080 Ti. More RT cores help to improve the ray tracing performance at least two or four times.

If you keep the ray tracing performance aside, then you don’t see much difference in the previous and this graphics card by ASUS. Some sources confirm that there are chances of having a 40% improvement, and in some specific cases, there could be a 70% improvement in the features.

There is no information about the details on the sale price of RTX 3080 Ti, but you can assume that it will cost little more than the previous (RTX 2080 Ti) card by the ASUS. Let’s wait for the official confirmation on the price. Possibly, the product will launch in October and September of this year.
