Log Horizon Season 3: All the Details So Far

 ‘Log Horizon’ is a fantasy science-fiction anime series based on a novel published on April 13, 2010, and several volumes of manga (comics originated in Japan) series. The popular anime is written and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara, which premiered three years ago on October 5, 2013, leaving its audience by surprise. It took a year for Log Horizon to come out with the second season that aired on October 4, 2014, making the fans obsessed about the anime series. Six years down the line, when fans are yet to begin disliking the anime series, Log Horizon announced a comeback of the series in 2020. But, given the pandemic situation, the release date for season 3 is now pushed until next year. The production got delayed because of obvious reasons for COVID-19. Anyways, the excitement among the fans cannot go unnoticed, as news seems too good to be true. 


The gap between seasons 2 and 3 have been caused mainly for two reasons. First, the author of the light novel Mamare Touno was charged with tax evasion in 2015 because of which he couldn’t work on the anime. And the second reason is that the series had caught up with the light novel by season 2. So there was no content available for another season at all.

Yes, of course. All the episodes of Log Horizon have been dubbed into English and are available on Crunchyroll for people who want to watch the anime in the language. What Is The Plot Of ‘Log Horizon’?

The show is about a young man, Shiroe, who is a socially awkward college student and spends his free time fascinating the virtual world of a multiplayer online role-playing game called Elder Tale.

Due to some goof-up, Shiroe along with his friends Nootsugu and Akatuski get transported into the virtual world of the Elder Tale and get badly stuck there. Together, the three characters try to make this new world their home and find themselves challenged by the people of the virtual city, Akihabara. After fighting through a lot of troubles, the boys can maintain peace within the city and its people. Soon after, with the help of Sage of Mirror Lake, Regan, the boys find a way back home.

It is expected that the upcoming season will bring a handful of new monsters which will add trouble to the planet. And the protagonist Shiroe, along with his friends will be back for the renewal. There will be a lot of fighting scenes, where Shiroe will responsibly bring back 30,000 gamers home, who are trapped in the world of Elder Tale. Undoubtedly, all the fans of sci-fi are going to love season 3 of Log Horizon as we wait together for its launch.
